You are notified that a petition has been filed in the office of this court naming you as a defendant in this action. The petition was filed on September 16, 2016, and prays for foreclosure of Plaintiffs mortgage in favor of the Plaintiff on the property described in this notice and judgment for the unpaid principal amount of $38,420.85, with 8.7% per annum interest thereon from October 1, 2015, together with late charges, advances and the costs of the action including (but not limited to) title costs and reasonable attorney’s fees, as well as a request that said sums be declared a lien upon the following described premises from January 3, 2003, located in Clinton county, Iowa:
Lot thirty-one (31) in Clinton Homes Addition Number two (2), in the City of Clinton, Iowa. Situated in Clinton County, Iowa, commonly known as 2100 West Court, Clinton, IA 52732 (the “Property”)
The petition further prays that the mortgage on the above described real estate be foreclosed, that a special execution issue for the sale of as much of the mortgaged premises as is necessary to satisfy the judgment and for other relief as the Court deems just and equitable. You must serve a motion or answer on or before 25th day of January, 2017, and within a reasonable time thereafter file your motion or answer with the Clerk of Court for Clinton County, at the county courthouse in Clinton, Iowa. If you do not, judgment by default may be rendered against you for the relief demanded in the petition.

To All Persons Interested in the Estate of Frederick J. Ray, Deceased, who died on or about November 9, 2016:
You are hereby notified that on November 30, 2016, the last will and testament of Frederick J. Ray, deceased, bearing date of May 9, 2013, was admitted to probate in the above named court and that Richard W. Farwell was appointed executor of the estate. Any action to set aside the will must be brought in the district court of said county within the later to occur of four months from the date of the second publication of this notice or one month from the date of mailing of this notice to all heirs of the decedent and devisees under the will whose identities are reasonably ascertainable, or thereafter be forever barred.

SPECIAL SESSION

DECEMBER 29, 2016
The City Council of the City of Camanche, Iowa met in special session December 29, 2016 at 6:00 P.M. at Camanche City Hall. Present on roll call: Mayor Willis, presiding, and the following named council members: Metzger, Saxon, Lind, Varner, and Wruck. Also present were City Attorney Randy Current, City Administrator Andrew Kida and City Clerk/Treasurer Sheryl Jindrich.
This meeting is to discuss real estate matters.
Moved by Varner, second by Saxon to go into closed session according to Section 21.5j of the Iowa Code to discuss real estate matters. On roll call – all ayes.
At 6:39 P.M., the council came back into open session.
The Mayor adjourned the meeting at 6:40 P.M.
